The 3-2 Master of Business Administration (MBA) Program permits a student to
complete both a bachelor's degree in a field
outside of business and an MBA degree in five years. The first three years are devoted to
general university studies and the undergraduate major; the fourth year is generally used to
complete the undergraduate requirements, begin the MBA core curriculum, and finish the
Bachelor's degree. In the fifth year, students complete the remaining MBA course requirements.
In order to reduce the possibility of a lengthened program, students who are thinking about the 3-2 Program are encouraged to consult with the Graduate Program Manager at the earliest possible date in their academic career as admission requirements are very specific. Cooperative planning by the student, the advisor in the major field, and the Graduate Program Manager should permit the development of an undergraduate program that meets the needs and interests of the student while providing the background required for admission to the MBA program.
